Great Lakes from the Field Notes brand is a set of five notebooks that pay tribute to North America's largest lakes - Lake Superior, Lake Huron, Lake Erie, Lake Ontario and Lake Michigan.
The fiftieth edition of Field Notes notebooks commemorates the first set created in 2008. The first edition of Field Notes notebooks was in orange, so going back to the beginning, the fiftieth edition has a beautiful, intense red cover with silver embossing. The cover of the notebook is almost blank, however, a circle cut out in it shows through the number "50", which gives the notebook a futuristic feel.
