The special limited edition 3776 Century Decade fountain pen takes us back to the very beginning of the creation of the iconic Platinum fountain pen.

The 3776 was created in 1978 as a joint project between Japanese brand Platinum and Haruo Umeda, a famous writer and fountain pen collector.

The number 3776 became the symbol of the collection, which refers to the highest peak and sacred symbol of Japan, Mount Fuji.

In 2011, that is 30 years later, the 3776 Century collection was introduced into the permanent range. Even then, the pen was equipped with an innovative "Slip&Seal" mechanism, which prevents the ink from drying out.

Exactly on the 10th anniversary of the 3776 Century collection, the Platinum brand created a special anniversary limited edition, signed with an individual serial number. The brand created only 3776 pieces of the Decade limited edition fountain pens.

The Platinum 3776 Century Decade fountain pen, with its design, perfectly refers to the first model of the 3776 pen from 1978.
The black resin barrel is topped with gold details, which makes the pen retain its retro design.

A logo commemorating the 10th anniversary has been placed on the top of the cap, while on the opposite side of the founatin pen you will find an engraved individual serial number.

The pen features a newly designed 14K gold nib.

It is packaged in a beautiful anniversary box, in which we will find a gold-plated converter, one ink cartridge and a bottle of specially created 20 ml navy blue ink.

The color is inspired by the shade of the sky that spreads over Mount Fuji at night.
