Description

The lettering set is ideal for beginning calligraphers, as well as for those of us who want to add to our supplies with reliable utensils.

The Latin Calligraphy set includes:

-1 wooden penholder,

-three beveled Bandzug nibs of 1.5mm, 2.5mm and 3mm thickness,

-1 brush,

-J.Herbin brand calligraphy ink in black with a capacity of 15 ml,

-a short guide with tips on how to prepare nibs for work and how to start your adventure in calligraphy.

Bandzug are flexible nibs cut to the right. With their help we can create thick or thin lines. At the top of the nib is an ink reservoir, which we fill with the brush included in the kit. The nibs included in the Brause Latin Calligraphy set will work perfectly with the following styles of calligraphy: rondal script, uncial, Gothic script, or Carolingian minuscule.

The production of nibs by the German brand Brause dates back to 1850 and is characterized by high-quality workmanship with attention to detail. Nibs are created from cold-rolled steel and shaped with specially selected tools for each type of nib. All this makes the nibs recognized by many artists, calligraphers and illustrators as some of the best available on the market.

Made in France.
