The album, in which we preserve our memories, was created in collaboration with Japanese designer Kenzo Takada's brand K三.
Kenzo Takada is one of the most recognizable Japanese designers of his generation. His designs are a perfect blend of modernity and Japanese motifs.
The album features a hardcover with a floral design and copper K三 brand logo. Inside you'll find 40 sheets of 180g/m2 acid-free white paper, which is produced in Vosges. The paper used to create the sketchbook is PEFC-certified, which assures us that the materials used to create the album were sustainably sourced.
The spiral-bound album was created to preserve memories. The smooth paper inside the album will work with a variety of media and techniques, giving freedom to our imagination.
Clairefontaine gained its fame by being the first brand to create school notebooks in France. The brand opened a paper manufactory as early as 1858 and the production of stationery in 1890. Today, it is the first manufacturer in Europe to create paper for its products itself and a symbol of the highest quality. The brand refers to tradition and at the same time, following the spirit of time, responds to the needs of today's users, the best proof of which is the fact that all products are created from start to finish in harmony with the environment, as Clairefontaine takes care of hundreds of hectares of French forests and takes an active part in their sustainable development.
