The fabric used for the cover comes from yuge fabric farm, a handicraft store run by Enima Design. The company also runs the Essential Store, a store that sells antiques, artwork and clothing from Japan and abroad.

The cover is covered with a brocade fabric with a pattern of “charms,” or triangles, which symbolize scales that originated in ancient China. You can immediately see the intricacy of the weaving, which looks beautiful in vivid yellow.

The cover has a convenient pen holder and two tabs in gray.
