The first line notebook by Hobonichi!

Description

The notebook has 288 pages of ultra-thin Japanese Tomoe River paper, checkered at 10mm intervals.

The line design was developed by Professor Haruo Hibino and his team of researchers at BB STONE Design Psychology Unit, Inc, a venture capital company of the Faculty of Engineering at Chiba University.

The line paper is unique in that the horizontal lines crossing the page are punctuated by short vertical lines that form a subtle grid.

The line design does not tire the eyes during a long writing session and also allows for smooth writing of words and diagrams.

Thanks to its properties, the paper has been appreciated by fountain pen users as, despite its grammage (52g/m2), the ink does not run through to the other side.

The notebook has a hard paper cover with a reinforced spine, so that it always folds flat for a high level of writing comfort.

Hobonichi Plain Notebooks fit perfectly into Hobonichi's A5 size covers!
