The seal (or stamp) was an imprint intended to guarantee the authenticity of a document and gave certainty that the letter or document had not been opened before.
Today, seal lacquered letters serve primarily an aesthetic function, and a nicely designed one adds chic and originality.
The spoon was made of the combination of metal and wood.
To make such a seal you need to break a stick of wax and place it in a wax spoon.
Then place it slightly above the flame of the candle, which will melt the wax.
When the wax is hot, simply pour it onto the sealing tray and apply the seal.
The wax solidifies at room temperature.
The set includes also one stick of red wax.
