Description

Maruman was founded in Tokio in 1920 and is focused on the quality of paper. On the first stage of notebook production, they think what function it should represent – for writing with fountain pens, ballpoint pens or for sketching and drawing.

Maruman Croquis has been around in Japan for many years. In 1970, designer Susumu Tada created the iconic Croquis series logo using only a compass and ruler.
The Croquis sketchbook from Maruman Japan is perfect for sketching and drawing. The cardboard cover protects the pages inside, and the reinforced spine makes the sketchbook open perfectly flat.
As with all Maruman products, the heart of the Croquis series is paper. All include. The series is available in white and cream.
The sketchbook contains 60 sheets of specially created Japanese croquis paper with a weight of 52.3 gsm.
White Croquis paper is a fairly tear-resistant paper with a lightly textured surface, while Cream Croquis is a soft laid paper. Both are ideal for dry sketching techniques and drawing ideas as well as recording travel memories.
