The black is 46.8% deeper than the iconic Carbon Black. Chou Noir is an ink whose color is created by the reaction of pigment molecules with the mineral components of the paper. The deep black and archival properties of the ink - resistance to water and fading, will give us confidence that the signed documents will stand the test of time.
Directions for use:
It is recommended that a pen filled with Chou Noir ink be used regularly, at intervals of no more than a week. Pigment ink not used for a long time can clog the pen.
Make sure the ink is tightly capped before use. Shake the flacon several times to mix the ink evenly. Then twist the flacon with the cap down to fill the reservoir, which will make it easier to scoop the ink. Fill the pen with ink and wipe the nib with a cloth. Store the bottle away from sources of heat, moisture and sunlight.
How to clean the pen:
Clean the pen before changing the ink or when the float is clogged. Fill the vessel with distilled water. Mount the pipette in the section of the pen, then dip it and by pressing the pipette flush the pen. After rinsing all the ink out of the section, leave it in clean distilled water overnight to dissolve any residual dried ink, then rinse the pen again using the pipette. Leave the pen to dry on a fabric cloth.
