The Café Terrace at Night is one of Vincent van Gogh's most famous paintings. It shows the Café de la Gare in Arles, above which van Gogh lived. This is the first painting in which the artist used the starry night motif as a background. The representation of the constellations in the painting is so accurate that on their basis the date of creation of the painting can be determined as September 16-17, 1888!
