The graphic on the ruler depicts birds by the riverbank. This design was selected from Bijutsukai, a collection of craft designs that was published during the Meiji era (1868-1912) published by the Kyoto-based Unsodo art publishing house.
The back of the ruler is in blue-green.
With the Hobonichi Pencil Board, you can write in your favorite planner anywhere, even standing up, and mark where you have finished taking notes. The ruler also has a scale so we can use it as a ruler.
Hobonichi Pencil Board Planner fits not only Hobonichi calendars, but all A5 size notebooks.
