J. Herbin is the oldest name in pen inks in the world. J. Herbin created “The Jewel of Inks” in his shop on the Rue des Fosses Saint-Germain in Paris in 17 century. The brand gained popularity of fountain pen enthusiasts all over the world.

J. Herbin Aunthentique also called "Lawyers' Ink", this is black ink was used by French notaries to write official acts.

It contains Campeche wood sap ensuring exceptional preservation.

Lettering done with this ink remains legible for three hundred years.
