The inks are inspired by Art Nouveau, where the Kuretake brand had its beginnings. 

Each ink in the Art Nouveau series draws on colorful lithographs to evoke the nostalgic emotions of Art Nouveau.

Concrete Gray is inspired by the solid concrete foundations that revolutionized Parisian entertainment venues and shaped the nightlife of Parisian streets. 

The ink highlights the Art Nouveau-style colors seen on the Divan Japonais (Japanese Music Café) poster.
