Platinum Preppy Wa Limited Edition was inspired by traditional Japanese patters, which at the same time are symbols bringing luck and good fortune.
The modern Maki-e or so-called “carpentry painting” is applied using silk screen printing and then sprinkled with colored powders such as gold or silver.
The Asagao pattern depicts the flowers of the morning glory. In Japan, this plant appeared during the Heian period. It was cultivated for medicinal purposes. Because the seeds of the morning glory are expensive, the plant is considered a symbol of wealth and prosperity. It is also attributed the meaning of 'strong bond' because it grows as a strong vine.

The body is semi-transparent, what helps to control the ink flow.
Equipped with the "Slip&Seal Mechanism" that prevents the ink from drying out in the pen nib, even when a fountain pen has not been used for the long time.
The nib made of the stainless steel is available in F size. Japanese nibs are thiner than European nibs for about one size.
Jepanese nib in F size draws a line similar to European nib in EF size.
The fountain pen is supplied wih dedicated Platinum ink cartridges, replaceable with Platinum converter.
